A child's ability to read is one of the things that will determine how well they can survive in their adult lives. Reading is a part of everyday life. Proven by the International Education Statistics, children are not continuing their education on into college.
In some countries they are only in school for around 9 years. This is from kindergarten to 8th or 9th grade. In a lot of countries children are often working at this point or a few years before. They have no choice but to quit schooling to help with support their families.

Most people see shoes as a fashion accessory not necessarily a necessity. What if you had to walk around all day on the hot, rocky ground with no shoes? What if you were only a child. All the way from New Orleans to Ethiopia there are children in need of shoes. Yes so you are probably saying ok well how am I supposed to help that. I have my own kids to worry about, my own kids to put shoes on. Well what if I told you that you could help these kids at the same time. Well you can.
